Youth Achievement Awards formally recognise young people’s participation in formal and non-formal settings. They are designed to encourage young people to take a more active and engaged role in the activities that interest them. Young people gain a nationally recognised, accredited award for their participation

The Awards can fit around existing programmes and activities and have 5 different levels of achievement, based on the level of responsibility the young person takes.  The awards will be accredited by Agored Cymru and will be part of the Young Leadership Qualification

Come along to our lunch time event at the Pierhead in Cardiff Bay to learn more about the YAA, listen to guest speakers, network and take away resources that you can use to deliver the YAA within your youth settings.  The event is sponsored by the Minister of Education Kirstie Williams AM, who will also be speaking on the day.

Light refreshment will be included

Mae Gwobrau Cyflawniad Pobl Ifanc yn cydnabod cyfranogiad ieuenctid yn ffurfiol mewn lleoliadau ffurfiol ac anffurfiol. Mae pobl ifanc yn ennill gwobr achrededig a gydnabyddir yn genedlaethol am eu cyfranogiad

Gall y Gwobrau gyd-fynd â rhaglenni a gweithgareddau presennol ac mae ganddynt 5 lefel wahanol o gyflawniad, yn seiliedig ar lefel y cyfrifoldeb y mae’r person ifanc yn ei gymryd. Bydd y gwobrau’n cael eu hachredu gan Agored Cymru a byddant yn rhan o’r Cymhwyster Arweinyddiaeth Ifanc

IntroFest 2018

Youth Cymru are excited to present the brand new IntroFest 2018 at Ogmore Castle, FREE ENTRY. The two-day festival will be held on the Saturday 11th from 10am-8pm and Sunday 12th from 10am-6pm. There will be NO CAMPING provided however there are plenty of campsites nearby the venue for those who wish to stay the night.

We have a fantastic line up of talented young people performing, including those belonging to our Youth Cymru network. Come and show your support for the music stars of the future! Not only that, but the two days will be jam packed with amazing activities that all of the family can enjoy. Whether you like arts and crafts, competing in our giant dart board competition or getting covered in glitter tattoos while having your hair braided, you’ll be spoilt for choice at this year’s IntroFest.

There will be a licensed bar to include soft drinks tea and coffee. Plus pony rides, local cake sale and cream teas and face painting! We will also have workshops run by the Young People themselves! All of their hard work will be accredited and go towards their Awards For All.
