Do you have an interest in working to better the lives of young people in Wales and contributing the youth work research base?
Youth Cymru has recently been awarded some funding from the Endowment Fund https://youthendowmentfund.org.uk/ to enable us to explore and learn more about how youth work can be an effective tool in diverting young people away from offending behaviour, crime and violence. Our six month project which will start in September will work with 11 to 14 year olds using creative online digital youth work methods to pre-empt offending behaviour. We are seeking an experienced and excellent youth work researcher who can help us support the development of new learning and strengthening of sectorial knowledge regarding the role youth work can play in creating positive outcomes for young people.
We are seeking support for 7 days across a 6 month period from a suitably qualified and experience individual. We require support to develop a coherent theory of changes, develop evaluation methods and tools as well as guidance and input in the collation of evaluation data to produce a project report.
If you are interested in this opportunity pleases send your CV to HR@youthcymru.org.uk along with an outline of what you will bring to the work and the evaluation approach you would take, together with a detailed breakdown of your costs in relation to the work that will be supplied and any examples of previous work. Deadline for submitting your EOI is the 25th August 2020 at 12 midday.
