Hub Cymru Africa and CEWC bring you the Youth International Development Summit at the Urdd Residential Centre, Cardiff.

  • How to engage with the International Citizen Services (ICS) programme.
  • Stalls of youth and volunteering organisations (Lattitude, Progresio, VSO, YCare, Safe Foundation and UNA Exchange)
  • Showcase of young people’s activities relating to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • SDGs selfies

The day will culminate in the final of CEWC’s annual Wales Schools Debating Championships, with two debate teams battling for the national title.

Hub Cymru Africa (HCA) is a new partnership supporting Welsh communities, charities and groups working on development projects in Africa. The aim of this conference is to increase youth engagement in the sector. The Wales Schools Debating Championships is kindly sponsored by the Jane Hodge Foundation.
