Who we are

Youth Cymru is a major youth work charity operating within the whole of Wales.
Until June 7th 2003 we were known as the Welsh Association of Youth Clubs (WAYC).

The WAYC can trace its history back to the Cardiff and District Federation of Girls Clubs, which was formed in 1934. This means that Youth Cymru has been serving the needs of young people in Wales for over 83 years.

What we do

We work collaboratively with our members and other youth facing organisation to provide unique, innovative and life changing opportunities, projects and programmes, bettering the lives of young people in Wales.

How we do it

We support our members and young people to access and obtain additional resources, providing more choices and chances for learning, development and growth.

We provide our members with training, accreditation and the opportunities to develop learn grow and thrive now and in the future.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in bringing Youth Cymru's new five-year strategy to life and supporting the development of our training and accreditation curriculum. Reporting to the Joint CEO, this position requires effective organisational skills and good communication abilities. The successful applicant should have a keen attention to detail and a genuine interest in maintaining a high-quality accreditation and training curriculum. We're seeking candidates who possess a foundational understanding of training, accreditation, and qualifications and a willingness to further develop their skills and learn with the aim of enhancing and developing our services.
