Introduction to Monitoring & Evaluation

This one hour online session will support you to consider how we gather information to monitor and evaluate community projects and our performance, looking at participative methods that can inform funders and Management Committees by producing reports.

Young People Participation in Youth Work

This one hour online session will outlines knowledge and skills relating to young people’s participation in youth work.

Introduction to Social Action

This one hour online session will explore ways to support young people to help improve their lives and solve problems that are important to them in their community, having a voice in their community, on areas that affect them.

Introduction to working with young people in Poverty

Wednesday 12th July

This one hour online session will explore the factors that affect young people in poverty and how a Youth Work approach can support.

Meet our trainer

I’m Jane, Playwork & Youth Work practitioner, trainer, assessor and undertake an internal quality assurance role. I am passionate about quality services with children and young people. I’ve been a training coordinator in Play & Youth Work for over 23 years across Wales, I qualified in Wrexham in 1993 then went onto Reading University to complete the Degree in Youth & Community Education. I then worked in the voluntary sector funded by BBC Children in Need, working with a fantastic team of volunteers. I then completed my PGCE and went into training Youth WorkersI am a Trustee of an exciting playful Youth & Community Charity supporting community development initiatives.I enjoy chocolate, lots of it and travelling in our camper-van with my family.

Bespoke Training

We work with youth organisations to provide organisations with bespoke training that provides up to date knowledge, skills and practice.
Our bespoke options have recently been updated and extended, and we continue to provide organisations and groups with a bespoke commissioned training programme that can be delivered in house or online to a whole team, group or organisation.
