Course Details

Youth Cymru are working with Crimestoppers and Fearless to offer Youth Cymru members free training on knife crime, County Lines and an introduction to the support available through Fearless.org

This will be a workshop-based session and will provide an introduction to Crimestoppers and the youth service Fearless.org.

There will be a session around Knife Crime and County lines, with activities which can be used for youth engagement.

 The following areas will be explored during the session:

  • Crimestoppers
  • Introduction to Fearless.org
  • Knife Crime
  • What is ‘County Lines’?
  • Spotting the signs of county lines & exploitation
  • Understanding the risks of involvement with criminal gangs
  • Who can you speak to & where can you find out more?

Due to the current circumstances, the half day course will be rescheduled for a later date and we will keep you informed of the new arrangements.

Fearless will be offering an online workshop instead on Thursday 23rd April. Fearless is a site where young people can access non-judgemental information and advice about crime and criminality.  The workshop will be facilitated by Alistair Smith, Senior Fearless Worker South West Wales.  It will provide an overview of Crimestoppers, Fearless and the resources available to young people and youth workers.

The video conference session will take place on Thursday 23rd  April 2020, starting at 10am and finishing at approx. 10.30am. The session will be held on the Zoom video platform and there is no requirement to have ZOOM installed on your device.
