The Day

The Champions Development day is all about inspiring the next generation of artists and talented young people who want to be part of the music industry. Whether you like singing, rapping, playing an instrument on stage or prefer to be behind the scenes working the lights or tech, there is a place for you in the music industry.

Throughout the day, Champions attended workshops such as event planning, social media and music tech that could help them learn skills that they’ll use throughout their hub music project and potentially in their future careers.

Youth Cymru would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all of the champions and hub workers who attended the event at the Principality Stadium. The atmosphere was fantastic and the open mic blew everyone away. We look forward to seeing your music events and projects unfold and have every belief that you are all stars in the making.
