Youth Cymru offer Awards Introductory Training Events which are open to anyone interested in supporting young people to gain a Youth Achievement Award.

The training provides workers with an understanding of the rationale behind the Awards. They will gain a working knowledge of the Youth Achievement Awards, enabling them to effectively promote, support and deliver these Awards within their youth organisation

The training is a requirement for anyone wishing to deliver Youth Achievement Awards with young people.

  • History of the Youth Achievement Awards
  • The different levels of the Award
  • The Agored Cymru Qualification
  • Credit based Accreditation
  • How to set relevant Challenges & Targets
  • How to produce sufficient evidence
  • Your role as the assessor
  • The Quality Assurance procedures

Cost, assessment and accreditation

The cost of this course is £100 per participant

This cost includes all training materials, free portfolio moderation and ongoing support and quality assurance from Youth Cymru
