Meet the Funder: Garfield Weston Foundation
We are pleased to host Flora (Head of Grants) and Harriet (Grants Manager) from the Garfield Weston Foundation team who will present their top tips for making an application and afterwards take part in a Q&A session with attendees.
The Garfield Weston Foundation is a family-founded, charitable grant-making foundation, which supports a wide range of causes across the UK, donating over £90m last year. It was established in 1958 by the Weston family and is one of the largest charitable institutions in the UK which has donated well over £1 billion to date. If you are a UK registered charity or a CIO, or have exempt charity status, you may apply for funding at any time and will receive a decision in 4 months. They make unrestricted grants for core and project costs. They support organisations across: Arts, Education, Youth, Health, Museums & Heritage, Community, Environment, Faith and Welfare, particularly to those in need, in regions of economic disadvantage.
