Travis Anderson

Travis is our Marketing, Communications and Impact Officer at Youth Cymru, based in South Wales, and originally from South Africa. His work focuses on telling the deeper story of youth work, amplifying young people’s voices and showing the real impact behind the work we do.

Travis's background spans customer success, community engagement, and the Cybersecurity space, where I’ve developed a strong people-first approach. He enjoys translating complex ideas into simple, accessible messages and connecting different audiences, whether that’s organisations, young people, or wider communities.

Travis is passionate about shifting perceptions of youth work, showing that it goes far beyond social activities and plays a vital role in building confidence, opportunity, and wellbeing.

Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and being outdoors, including bouldering, mountain biking, long walks, and kayaking. He's also a big animal lover and values the balance that nature and movement bring to everyday life.
