Slight Glyn Jones

Slight is a communications and social media–focused Co-Creator. Originally from South Wales, they work across the youth sector in Wales, producing informative and engaging content that highlights youth work and platforms youth organisations across the country, focusing on the Marketing & Communications Programme. With a strong creative outlook, Slight is passionate about using digital media and storytelling to showcase the impact of youth work and connect with young people.

Alongside their role, Slight has experience working within film and digital media spaces. In 2023, they were a member of the Wicked Wales Film Festival jury, collaborating with fellow young people to review and judge short films submitted to the festival. They are currently in their second year of a Film, Television and Digital Production degree at Bath Spa University, where they have also supported social media campaigns for the university’s mentorship scheme.

Outside of work, Slight enjoys watching and making films and is keen to bring their love of video creation into their role. They are particularly interested in creative content that amplifies young people’s voices and promotes youth work in innovative and accessible ways.
