Summer Placement
I am currently completing my placement with Youth Cymru through the Summer Jobs Programme. I have been involved as a Young Leader, completing my Level 2 Youth Work qualification, and I am looking forward to getting involved as much as possible with other projects and opportunities within the organisation.
Through volunteering, I have gained lots of experience supporting young people, developing my skills and understanding the importance of youth voice. I am excited to continue building my knowledge and learning more about the youth work sector through the opportunities available with Youth Cymru.
I am passionate about youth work and believe in the positive impact it can have on young people’s confidence, experiences and opportunities. I enjoy being involved in projects that allow young people to have their voices heard and feel supported.
Through the opportunities I have taken part in, I have continued to grow in confidence, develop my communication skills and build my understanding of working with young people. I am looking forward to continuing my journey within the youth sector and developing my skills further.
Outside of youth work, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places, volunteering and spending time with my family and friends.
