Jonathan Price

Jonathan is Youth Cymru’s Youth Project and Programme Coordinator. He leads the Summer Jobs Programme, which provides young people across Wales with paid work opportunities, valuable skills, and confidence for the future. In addition to this, he contributes to the development and delivery of Youth Cymru’s wider curriculum, helping to ensure it is inclusive, engaging, and responsive to the needs of young people today. Jonathan is passionate about creating meaningful, accessible pathways that empower young people to thrive. 

With over two decades of experience in youth work and community development, Jonathan’s professional journey has been guided by a deep belief in the power of opportunity and positive relationships. He is a qualified Youth Worker and Further Education Tutor, and brings a creative edge to his work through a strong interest in digital media. His career has seen him lead innovative projects in youth clubs, regional youth networks, and across a variety of third sector organisations, always aiming to inspire, support, and equip young people with the tools they need for a better future. 

Outside of work, Jonathan loves to get out on his motorcycle as much as possible. He’s committed to staying active through regular gym sessions and has a long-standing passion for live music and travel. When he’s not out and about, you’ll probably find him at home painting tiny Warhammer 40k figures—a hobby he embraces with both skill and enthusiasm.
