SewGood is a creative expressive arts and textile project that includes opportunities for young people and professionals to engage in workshops and activities that provide opportunities to learn new skills and gain accreditation. Participants will gain recognition for their achievements whilst benefitting wellbeing, mental health and social connection through individual projects, group work and creative expressive activity.

Wellbeing Art Workshops
Creating Connections through mixed method and medium.
Our accessible creative practical workshops offer young people, 11-25 years, a range of combined, creative activities that aim to support them to promote, reflect on and build positive wellbeing and resilience. Including creative writing, upcycling and use of colour, texture and visual motifs participants will learn new techniques that produce individual and group art work. All materials are provided and accreditation is available but optional. Participants can gain an Agored Cymru Certificate by completing a creative portfolio.
Spaces are limited so please express your interest in our summer programme early . We offer this program in our Newport and Wrexham premises. We can also come to you if your youth provision is interested

Making much with Textiles
Learn to sew, knit, crochet , embroider and much more
Our Making much with Textiles workshops provide participants aged 11-25 with an opportunity to learn and develop a mix of textile and craft skills. Ranging from one-hour taster sessions to 90 minute, two-hour and a three-hour workshops and our “masterclass” workshop series; this opportunity includes dressmaking, machine sewing, hand sewing, applique, felting, knitting, embroidery and more. We run our workshops from our centre in Newport – if you are interested in joining our summer programme , please express your interest. Training the creative Youth Professional
Accredited training for youth facing professionals
Our Training the Creative Youth Professional workshops and courses provide an opportunity for professionals to develop their understanding, skills and abilities to work using the Expressive Arts to benefit the health and wellbeing of a specific client group. Ranging from half day workshops to 3 day accredited training courses our programme will provide the support and insight needed to plan and deliver mixed method/ multi modal expressive arts sessions for young people.
