DO YOU KNOW A 16-24 YEAR OLD WHO COULD USE UP TO £2000 TO RUN A COMMUNITY PROJECT?
STARBUCKS YOUTH ACTION
FUNDING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 16-24
Youth Cymru are delighted to announce that Starbucks Youth Action funding is available for young people across Wales to deliver a project to make a positive difference in their community.
Starbucks Youth Action inspires, empowers and supports young people from across the UK and Ireland to make a difference in their communities by applying for up to £2000 funding to get their projects off the ground. As well as supporting the young people to bring to life the projects that mean the most to them, we also offer training to young people on managing a budget, working with volunteers and project management. In 2013, successful projects in Wales included a community volunteering weekend, a drop-in centre for LGBT+ young people and a support group for young people whose parents have divorced or separated.
For the first time, Starbucks Youth Action is open to young people aged 16-24 living anywhere in Wales. Youth Cymru can offer advice and guidance to any young people interested in applying. Please contact Rachel at Rachel@youthcymru.org.uk or phone 01443 827840 to discuss your application.
