In recent months, due to Covid-19 digital Youth Work has increased. Some workers are already experienced in Digital Youth Work and are continuing to deliver youth work, others have had to deliver with minimum skills and experience very quickly. This training course aims to offer you the knowledge and skills you need to engage with young people through digital spaces and places.

Tutor - Dan Townsend

Hi, I am Dan Townsend, the Youth Work Manager for Youth Cymru, I support youth workers, young people, and organisations to develop and manage projects.

I have qualified with a Post Graduate Diploma in Youth and Community Work and currently studying a master’s degree at Cardiff Met.  I focus on young people leading, engaging, and challenging the status quo, while providing young people and youth organisations an opportunity to develop and grow.  I play musical instruments, ride a motorcycle and an avid photographer, I spend my life with my family and children.

The cost of this course is £150 per participant, that will also include the accreditation. the cost of non accredited course will be £120

The accreditation will require a written/typed assignment that will be sent electronically after each session. Distance tutor support is provided to allow for successful completion.
