The Amber Project – exists to support any young person (aged 14-25) in Cardiff and the surrounding areas who has experience of self-harm. www.amberproject.org.uk

Samaritans – there for you to call if you are having a difficult time, struggling to cope, if you’re worried about someone else, or having a difficult conversation. www.samar it ans.org Call 116 123 for free from any phone (24 hours a day 365 days a year)

Papyrus – the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide. www.papyrus-uk.org Call 0800 068 4141(weekdays 10am-10pm, weekends 2pm-10pm and bank holidays 2pm-10pm)

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) – If you identify as male, you can call on 0800 58 58 58 (5pm-midnight every day) or use their webchat service.

Switchboard -If you identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender, you can call_on 0300 330 0630 (10am-10pm every day) Phone operators all identify as LGBT+.

Cruse Bereavement Care – here to support you after the death of someone close. They offer a range of free confidential support for adults and children. Call 0808 808 1677- The helpline is open Monday-Friday 9.30-5pm (excluding bank holidays), with extended hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, when we’re open until 8pm. www.cruse.org.uk

No Panic – specialises in self-help recovery. Services include: Providing people with the skills they need to manage their condition and work towards recovery, enabling them to lead more fulfilled lives. 10am-10pm call 0844 967 4848 www.nopanic.org.uk

Time to Change Wales – a national campaign to improve knowledge and understanding about mental illness and to get people talking about mental health in order to improve working people’s wellbeing. www.timetochangewales.org.uk
