Youth Cymru, a national Welsh youth work charity, requires a temporary part-time Project Administrator who is able to start as soon as possible. This is an opportunity to join a creative, flexible and growing charity dedicated to improving the lives of young people across Wales. Required Monday to Friday, working for 16 –20 hours, between 10am and 4pm with the occasional weekend and/or evening work. The post is a temporary position initially for 3 months. There will be some flexibility regarding hours which can be discussed and agreed on appointment. The post will be paid at an hourly rate of £9.00.

We are looking for a part-time Project Administrator who can provide a high quality administrative service for the Youth Cymru team. We seek an enthusiastic individual to support the growth of existing programmes and projects to ensure our continued positive impact and that our mission is reached. We have an excellent track record of staff development within the charity as well as staff who have developed their careers and skill into other charities, and the public sector.

Your Key Responsibilities

· Provide efficient day to day administrative support service for the Youth Cymru team.

· Maintain regular communications with Youth Cymru’s members, young beneficiaries and partner organisations.

· Maintain, track and monitor programmes and projects databases, dealing with enquires and issues, updating databases as required, producing activity reports and collating data as required.

· Support with the production of marketing communications materials including emails, event flyers, social media etc.

· Ensure that the project team have materials and equipment needed to complete tasks and achieve SLAs by supporting them in the tracking of projects and programmes from instigation stage to completion.

· Support with the planning, preparation, logistics and delivery of various events, including: coordinating speakers, venues, facilitators and invitations etc. to ensure events run smoothly.

· Support membership engagement, helping to maximise our impact and achievement of our aims, ensuring their needs are understood and supported.
