Fearless – Training Event Overview

At Fearless we aim to help young people make informed decisions about crime and empower them to speak up about crime they have witnessed.

The purpose of the training is to introduce professionals to Fearless, Crimestoppers’ youth service and to explain how you can gain access to and use our resources. Through our ‘Train the Trainer’ programme, and use of our resources, we hope that youth professionals can then confidently go on and inform young people about different crimes and how to safely and anonymously report them.

The training covers:

  • A review and recap of Crimestoppers
  • An introduction to our youth brand and activity – Fearless.org
  • Equipping you with all of our available tools & resources

In addition, we will provide a briefing on the issue of County Lines, organised drug networks and gang culture and the related exploitation of young people.

The second part of the training will focus on the County Lines educational resource for professionals working with young people throughout the UK. It provides exercises on a range of crime types that professionals can use to challenge young people’s perceptions, stimulate debate and encourage good citizenship.

Included with the training will be access to free Fearless packs and resources.
